AmCham Shanghai Marks the US 250th Anniversary with Elite Events

This year, the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai is hosting a premier series of sports and cultural events to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence. This historic celebration kicks off with the 2026 Friendship Golf Tournament on Friday, April 17, at the Lake Malaren Golf Club. Participants can enjoy a full-day 18-hole scramble focused on strategic team play, followed by an awards ceremony and dinner; notably, "Dinner-Only" tickets are available for guests who wish to join the evening festivities without playing.

The months-long commemoration will reach its peak at the 250th Birthday Gala on Saturday, June 13, at the St. Regis Shanghai Jing'an. This gala serves as a cornerstone event to recognize excellence in business leadership and discuss the future of US–China commercial engagement.
