Disney Cruise Line Debuts Lion King Fireworks Narrated by Shah Rukh Khan

Disney Cruise Line has just announced a fireworks show titled "The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky," which will be held on Disney Adventure. Disney Cruise Line will be the only cruise line in the world to present a spectacular fireworks show at sea, and will feature global entertainment icon Shah Rukh Khan as the show's narrator.

Shah Rukh Khan, who previously voiced Mufasa in the Hindi-language versions of Disney's The Lion King (2019) and Mufasa (2024), will now connect guests with this classic tale through a fresh and bold approach, using his distinctive voice as the narrator.

"The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky" will light up the night sky with joy, inviting family and friends to gather on deck and witness a magnificent symphony of dazzling pyrotechnics, dramatic lighting, and iconic music. In addition to the visual treat, guests will also be taken on a colorful musical journey.

The show will feature iconic songs from The Lion King films, including "Circle of Life," "Hakuna Matata," "He Lives in You," and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" The score will be brought to life through original arrangements recorded by the 70-piece Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and featuring the unique harmonies of the South African Ndlovu Youth Choir.

Having been a part of this extraordinary story before, my family and I have been part of it, and being the narrator of this latest reimagining feels like a perfect moment and a passion project for me.
