Charting New Horizons Across Europe and Asia

River cruise enthusiasts have plenty to anticipate over the coming years. In 2027, Emerald Lumi will make its debut along the iconic Seine River in France, offering a refined way to glide through northern France.

Expansion across Asia takes a dramatic leap forward as well. Scenic will introduce custom-built river journeys along India’s historic Hooghly River in 2027, followed by a dedicated vessel navigating the Brahmaputra River in 2028. Further south, Scenic Spirit II and Scenic Spirit III will hit the waters of the Mekong River in 2028, elevating luxury river travel through Southeast Asia to new heights.

Next-Generation Ocean Yachts Take to the Seas

Ocean lovers can look forward to an expanded lineup of boutique yachts designed for deep coastal access and polar exploration. Emerald Cruises will welcome Emerald Raiya in 2027 and Emerald Xara in 2028, opening up fresh itineraries across pristine island destinations such as the Seychelles.

The crown jewel of the expansion arrives in April 2028 with the debut of Scenic Ikon. Joining the lauded Scenic Discovery Yachts collection, the vessel will set sail across the Mediterranean before embarking on an inaugural season in Antarctica. Combined with Scenic Eclipse II returning to the Asia-Pacific region in 2028, the group’s high-seas footprint promises unparalleled global reach.

A Month of World-Class Celebrations

Guests traveling across Scenic and Emerald itineraries throughout October are treated to curated anniversary experiences. Special dining events, commemorative entertainment, and exclusive loyalty departures define the milestone month.

Highlights include the annual Scenic Discovery Yachts Chairman’s Voyage through the United States—featuring curated shore events in Wilmington, Charleston, and Key West—alongside a Romantic Rhine & Moselle cruise capped by an exclusive dinner in Lucerne, Switzerland.
