Esterre Collaborates with Monte Carlo’s Legendary Le Louis XV

Gastronomique enthusiasts in Asia have a spectacular culinary appointment on their autumn calendars. Palace Hotel Tokyo’s acclaimed dining destination, Esterre, has announced an extraordinary three-night collaboration with the legendary three-Michelin-starred Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris. Taking place on November 5, 6, and 7, the event brings Monaco's celebrated Mediterranean flavors straight into the heart of Tokyo.

Titled “Esterre with Le Louis XV: The Spirit of Alain Ducasse,” this limited-engagement dinner series bridges two distinct culinary capitals. Both kitchens share a deep devotion to Ducasse’s signature naturalité philosophy, an approach that honors the unadulterated essence of ingredients while respecting seasonal harmony. Over three evenings, guests will experience an eight-course menu crafted jointly by Esterre’s Chef de Cuisine Kei Kojima and Le Louis XV’s Chef de Cuisine Emmanuel Pilon.

Adding exceptional weight to the residency, Chef Pilon and Le Louis XV’s famed Chef Pâtissier Sandro Micheli will be cooking in person at Esterre alongside Kojima and pastry chef Kohei Nakazawa. Together, the team presents a dialogue between the French Riviera and Japanese seasonality. Diners can anticipate iconic creations, including Le Louis XV’s renowned artichoke paired with sea anemone and caviar. While Alain Ducasse himself will not be present, his culinary ethos guides every course.

Intimacy remains paramount for this showcase. Seatings are strictly capped at 30 guests per evening, available at 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm, or 7:00 pm. The eight-course experience is priced at $680 USD (JPY 100,000) per person inclusive of taxes and service charge, with an optional wine pairing offered at $340 USD (JPY 50,000).

For an elevated experience, Palace Hotel Tokyo has crafted an exclusive one-night stay package for November 6 or 7, bookable through October 27.

The Experience Package Includes:
