Palace Hotel Tokyo Unveils ‘A Tokyo Christmas’ Package

Tokyo’s winter landscape transforms into a shimmering playground every December, and Palace Hotel Tokyo is celebrating the holiday season in grandeur. The Michelin Three Keys property has revealed its exclusive ‘A Tokyo Christmas’ stay package, offering a two-night luxury escape complete with personalized holiday styling, gourmet treats, and private chauffeured access to the city’s most captivating winter illuminations.

In-Room Holiday Magic & Festive Perks

Guests opting for the holiday package stay in a Grand Deluxe room, Executive Suite, or Premier Suite, each set up with an array of festive touches. Every room features a nearly six-foot-tall decorated Christmas tree complete with lights and ornaments, creating an intimate holiday residence in the heart of Marunouchi.

The package includes:

  • Luxurious Accommodation: Two nights in a Grand Deluxe room, Executive Suite, or Premier Suite (including Club Lounge access for suite bookings).

  • Holiday Indulgences: A chilled bottle of Dom Pérignon Champagne, a tin of Christmas cookies, and an exclusive holiday cake from the hotel's pastry shop, Sweets & Deli.

  • Daily Breakfast: Morning dining served in-room or at the hotel's signature restaurants.

In the public spaces, the hotel sets a regal tone with a 16-foot-tall Christmas tree anchoring the grand lobby.

Private Chauffeured Tours of Tokyo Illuminations & Markets

Winter in Tokyo brings spectacular light installations across major districts. Palace Hotel Tokyo’s concierge team arranges private chauffeured tours tailored to guest preferences, gliding past illuminated avenues and seasonal markets.

The driver takes guests along Marunouchi Naka Dori, the tree-lined boulevard running toward Ginza, glowing under tree-wrapped fairy lights. Optional stops include the fashion precinct of Omotesando, Shibuya, and iconic Christmas markets such as Roppongi’s German-style fair, the sprawling market at Meiji Jingu Gaien, or the holiday village at Azabudai Hills.

Michelin-Starred Dining & Seasonal Gastronomy

Festive culinary programming runs from December 19 to 25 across the property's acclaimed dining venues:

  • Esterre by Alain Ducasse: The Michelin-starred contemporary French restaurant serves a festive menu featuring blue lobster, wagyu filet, and foie gras Rossini.

  • Wadakura & Japanese Dining: Fine Japanese eateries offer seasonal specialties, including matsuba, kobako, and king crab dishes at Wadakura, along with teppanyaki at GO and tempura at Tatsumi.

  • Grand Kitchen: Featuring a large open fireplace and an award-winning wine menu of over 550 selections, the all-day dining venue presents family-friendly holiday menus with traditional roast beef, seared scallops, and an ice-cream-style Bûche de Noël.

European Holiday Pastries with Japanese Flourishes

The hotel’s pastry shop, Sweets & Deli, bakes traditional European Christmas breads infused with local ingredients. Highlights include the Bohnen Stollen, crafted with yuzu-flavored marzipan and kinako (soybean flour), alongside the Kouglof de Noël, baked with sweet chestnuts kneaded into matcha dough and coated in raspberry chocolate glaze.
