Two train cars operate separately daily, traveling in opposite directions. One car departs from Da Nang in the morning to Quy Nhon and then on to Nha Trang, while the second car departs from Nha Trang in the afternoon to Quy Nhon and then to Da Nang.

The Vietage, launched by Anantara Hoi An in 2020, is a unique way to explore Vietnam. The Vietage uses the North-South railway line, built in the 1880s under French colonial rule, which served as a vital supply route during the Vietnam War.

After reunification, it was renamed the Reunification Express and became a symbol of post-war national unity, connecting Hanoi in the north and Ho Chi Minh City in the south. The Vietage has 12 private cabins separated by rattan partitions.
